iFixAi is an open-source diagnostic for independently auditing whether AI agents actually do the job they are supposed to do. It focuses on misbehavior that standard evals, red-teaming and observability tools tend to miss, such as exceeding authority, bypassing approval gates, indirect prompt injection and sandbagging. You run it through a CLI wizard (ifixai setup/run) or a flags mode for CI; provider adapters connect it to a bare model API or a real deployed agent endpoint (–grounding sut), and a judge model from a different vendor grades the results. Sixty inspections across 25 categories roll five core pillars into an A–F grade, and failing certain mandatory checks caps the grade. It also ships a plugin for Claude Code and Codex and a skill for other agents. After passing 15K stars in four months it expanded into a commercial auditing platform, and demand appears to be rising as regulatory pressure on agent incidents grows, as with the EU’s first AI Act probes.
- Checks tool use, audit trails, policy adherence, prompt injection, poisoned retrieval, sandbagging, drift and escalation handling
- Selectable suites (smoke, strategic, core, extended, all) with a seeded-defect default fixture and custom fixtures
- Cross-vendor and ensemble judging (self-judge mode is flagged as non-citable)
- JSON and Markdown reports plus a terminal scorecard
- Connect your own agent by implementing ChatProvider.send_message
- Topic mapping to the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 and OWASP LLM
Practical takeaway: Before shipping an in-house agent, add iFixAi’s smoke suite to CI to catch authority and policy regressions automatically and keep the reports as governance audit evidence.

mksglu/context-mode — +946 ⭐ today (2 days in a row)
URL: https://github.com/mksglu/context-mode

context-mode is an MCP server and hook bundle that saves context window space for AI coding agents and keeps work state intact after context compaction. It runs tool output in an isolated subprocess sandbox and passes only stdout into context, storing large outputs in a per-project SQLite FTS5 index so only the relevant parts are retrieved (315KB down to 5.4KB, a 98% cut, per the README). Hooks such as PreToolUse, PostToolUse, PreCompact and SessionStart record file edits, git operations, tasks and decisions as events and restore them after compaction or a resumed session. Through MCP and hooks it supports 17 platforms including Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor and Codex CLI. Yesterday’s roughly fourfold jump held almost unchanged for a second day, suggesting real demand rather than a one-day spike.
- Sandboxed execution tools (ctx_execute, ctx_batch_execute, ctx_index, ctx_search, ctx_fetch_and_index and more)
- Hybrid search with BM25, trigram and RRF
- Session continuity restored after compaction
- Intent-based filtering of large outputs and a URL cache
Practical takeaway: For long-running agent jobs with heavy logs or browser snapshots, it cuts token costs and post-compaction context loss at the same time (note that ELv2 restricts reselling it as a managed service).
