A template that turns a single Claude Code session into a game development studio, bundling 49 AI agents, 74 slash-command skills and coordination rules to structure a project from brainstorm to launch. Agents follow a three-tier studio hierarchy: directors (creative director, technical director, producer), department leads (game designer, lead programmer, art, audio and narrative directors, QA lead, release manager, localization lead) and specialists (gameplay, engine, AI, network, tools and UI programmers, artists, writers, QA testers, DevOps and more). Agents delegate vertically, consult horizontally, escalate conflicts to the relevant director and always ask for the user’s approval before writing files.

Key components:

  • Skills: phase-by-phase commands such as /start, /design-system, /dev-story and /gate-check covering onboarding, design, art/UX, architecture, sprints, reviews, QA and release
  • 15 hooks: validate commits, pushes, reads/writes and assets, manage session start/stop, log agent activity and detect project gaps (most warn rather than block)
  • 14 path-scoped coding rules, e.g. data-driven values in src/gameplay/** and server-authoritative design in src/networking/**
  • Engine-specific agent sets for Godot 4, Unity and Unreal Engine 5
  • A modes.rigor setting (minimal, standard, full) to control process overhead, defaulting to minimal
  • Player-visible stories only count as done once the game has been run and a screenshot kept as evidence

Created in February, the repo first trended in April (best GitHub Trending rank #6) and returned to the chart on October 29 (#11) and October 31 (#3), gaining roughly 3,300 stars this week. As the Claude Code subagent and skills ecosystem grows, demand for ready-made templates that deliver a role-based multi-agent team out of the box appears to be driving the resurgence.

Practical use: A fast starting point for indie studios or internal prototyping teams to adopt an agent pipeline with design docs, sprints and QA gates, and a reference design for role-based agent organizations outside gaming too.
